Policy decisions on COVID-19 interventions should be informed by a local, regional and national understanding of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) transmission. Our research explores the impact of COVID-19 on the continuity of health service provision and at a population level where we map and unpack the drivers of Social Vulnerability. Social Vulnerability relates to the circumstances of a population subgroup that affect their capacity to anticipate, confront, repair, and recover from the effects of various factors. Some factors affecting a person’s social vulnerability include socioeconomic status, household composition, minority status, and geographical access.
